Wilderness Survival depends totally upon you and your knowledge. Do you know what to do if you are lost and alone? Learn from these simple rules:
1. Never Panic
Sit down and collect your thoughts. Relax and let the anger and frustration get out of your system.
2 . Check your Survival Kit
Never leave home without preparing a Survival Kit–which includes a First Aid Kit.
3. Look Around
Notice if you are out in the open so searchers can spot you
4. Make a Plan of Action
Keeping warm should be your number one priority. Formulate what to do first. Make a shelter, build a fire, find water, and signaling for help.
5. Keep a Positive Attitude
Attitude if half the battle, so just keep your chin up and think positively.
6. Stay Put and Wait For Help
By moving around, you may become even more confused. It is important to know how to navigate with and without a Compass. Silva Compasses are some of the best you can buy.
Hopefully, this information will help you in event you ever get lost. Learn and teach your family and friends Wilderness Survival Skills.
