Camping LED Headlamps

Camping LED HeadlampsTruthfully, I have never owned a headlamp, but decided to buy one for my next camping adventure.

I purchased the Apex LED Headlamps and was extremely glad to have them along on my trip.

Our vehicle broke down enroute to our camping destination, so it was well after dark when we finally arrived at our campsite. My friend and I decided to give those new camping LED headlamps a try.

Things went so much faster being able to use both of our hands to unpack and set up our tent. We had our tent up in no time, and dinner cooking on the camping stove.

What was nice was the fact that when you turned your head to check something, the light automatically pointed in the direction in which I was looking. For those who don’t want to wear these upon your head, you can always use them as flashlights for great camp lighting.

See for yourself how much light comes off these camping LED headlamps.

CAMPING GEAR GUIDE

CAMPING GEAR GUIDEThe type of camping gear necessary depends on the type of trip you have planned.

The best place to start any trip is by making very clean detailed list for your Camping Gear.

We all know the importance of a quality camping tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pads.

However, by making detailed lists you can make your camping trip as hassle-free as possible. It forces you to think about how will I cook my food? Do I need a tent footprint to protect the tent floor? What types of food will I be cooking, and what kind of cooking gear will I require? What is the best type of compass to take along? On this trip will I need a camp axe or just good quality camping knives?

It is very easy to overlook simple things like a First Aid kit, or a hammer to put in your tent stakes.

Camp lighting is a very important part of camping gear. Using flashlights, lanterns, headlamps, may just save your life in an emergency situation. So be prepared with extra batteries and/or fuel.

And since healthy drinking water is essential, make sure you take along adequate camp drinking water treatments, such as water purifiers, water filters, and purifer tablets to ensure your safe health with clean drinking water.

LED headlamps

Apparently all those miners have the right idea, because headlamps are a favorite tool of some of the most avid campers. But what makes these little lights so popular?

LED headlamps are a fantastic way to see what you’re doing in low light situations, while still keeping both your hands free. When you’re camping, that becomes very important. With the aid of a headlight, you can set up your tent, cook, or make a fire all with an adequate amount of light. Flashlights can be bulky to pack and leave you with only one hand to perform your tasks. As an added benefit, headlamps are simple and easy to use. You merely attach the strap to your forehead and turn the bulb on.

The only thing to keep in mind is that you don’t want to be stuck in the woods with a busted headlamp and no alternative light source. Consider packing two headlamps, or stash some extra batteries in case of emergency.
